This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm across the fandom. From the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's launch, to trainers developing strong opinions on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique designs that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

The sign known for being charmingly critical is strongly mirrored throughout this creature's whole lineage, from a perpetually surprised face like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the symbol a Maiden sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a plan.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, empathetic being, who employs the feelers on its ears to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress even more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a toy, it became sentient through pure hatred and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a performance. Being a Archer myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even mentions how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol
