Jarell Quansah Examined by the opposition's primary attacker through Hoxha. Started in a central role early on later drifted to the flank after Saka entered the fray. 7/10

John Stones Moved into midfield with the ball at his feet, as he has done before. On occasion lacked urgency on the ball with the approach discontinued by the interval. 6/10

Dan Burn A constant threat on corners and free-kicks, as always, perhaps is another option to Stones in the backline rather than alongside him. A careless ball in the second half almost led to a goal for the visitors. Six

Nico O’Reilly A further composed display by the 20-year-old after his debut against Serbia. A teammate did not capitalize on full advantage of a clever backheel behind the Albania defence. The role looks secure so soon. 7/10

The newcomer A debut start for his country. Somewhat sloppy when playing out however his whipped set-pieces caused problems. A useful game manager for the manager to have against teams who drop deep. Shown a yellow for a rash tackle. Six

The midfielder Crosses from dead balls and set-plays created chances. Was given room to move down the left flank only to be offside when the ball arrived in front of goal. Given a merited rest on the hour mark. 6

Jude Bellingham Functioned in a high position on the right and also contributed with the hard yards. Showed flashes of quality but dragged an attempt over. Replaced in the closing stages by a teammate, his rival, after being booked. Seven

The winger Was presented with the team's top opening in the opening period, his shot smartly stopped from the opposing goalkeeper. With Quansah holding position, he was forced to provide width out wide but his crosses from wide areas varied in quality. Taken off with 15 to go. 6/10

Harry Kane The difference-maker netting seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes in an England shirt. The first a trademark opportunist's goal and the second an excellent header after peeling away off his defender. At 32, his form is unwavering and the side stand a real opportunity in future competitions when he's in the team. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to influence play on the left flank. Had a presentable chance following a pass from a teammate but Strakosha kept it out. Rashford produced a bigger influence in his place. 5/10
