Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused electricity outages in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were hurt while local people in the city's east were plunged into darkness and faced problems to water supplies, as stated by municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was killed in a separate Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the country's south-east, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has intensified strikes on power infrastructure over recent weeks, while officials has demanded "concrete actions" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but decisive action - from the US, Europe and the Group of Seven - in delivering air defence systems and applying restrictions," was stated in a social media post.

Authorities reported that numerous aerial vehicles and several dozen projectiles struck the country's power systems, describing such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as temperatures become colder.

Energy officials said Russia was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were striving to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles hit energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people wounded in the strikes on the capital have been taken to hospital, per statements from municipal representatives.
