In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine sect.

The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a striking scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
